Remastered Boy

I was listening to the remastered version of U2's first album "Boy", this new version brings a second cd with unreleased songs before, single versions and live songs, it's a jewel for the fans, but I wanted to say: what a great album!
many youngs bands would kill to make a first album like this one, perhaps "I will follow" is the most recognizable song of the album, but the others have an extraordinary power, the duo "An Cat Dubh" and "Into The Heart" sound incredible, "Out of Control" could be a hit today without a doubt, "Stories For Boys" has lyrics which are related with "Vertigo" (2004), in "The Ocean" we can hear the sound of the creaking wood of a ship at the sea, finally "A Day Without me" and "The Electric Co." are powerful and they were classic numbers in the early tours of the band, all the songs and the album are good, not masterpices of course, but those songs show us the strength of U2 when they just appeared

I really don´t know the true story, but it seems that Björk was at a pub and there was a local singer playing his piano, at one momento Bjork gets up to the stage and talks with the singer and she improvises the song "No limit" from the group 2 Unlimited, the result we can see it the video, I wish I had a pub, I would wait for Bjork to sing any song..




the usual way is that a modern group make its own version of a classic song from a well known group, this, is not the case, R.E.M. more than 25 years in the music, makes an acoustic version of the song "Munich" from the group Editors, great version, this makes me think that both groups will appear together soon in a concert

Ennio madness
